Upcoming Due Dates For Compliances
To provide relief to businesses grappling with the economic impact of COVID 19, the government has extended the due dates for businesses for tax and various other compliances
Due Dates under Income-Tax Act,1961
Income Tax return for FY 2018-19 has been extended till 30th June 2020.
Similarly Income Tax return for FY 2019-20 has been extended till 30th November 2020.
You can file your TDS and TCS return for Q4FY20 up till 30th June 2020.
Online Submission for of form 15G and 15H can be done till 30th June 2020
Linking of PAN with Aadhar has been extended till 30th June 2020.
Form 16/16A for the Q4FY20 can be issued till 30th June 2020.
Date for making investments & payments for claiming deduction under Section 80C/80D/80G
Along with the extension in due dates Interest liability on payment due between 20th March 2020 to 30th June 2020 will be charged at reduced interest rate i.e. 9%.
Due Dates under Goods and Service Tax.
Due Dates for GSTR-1 Quarterly for registered person having turnover less than 1.5 crores
February 2020- 30 June 2020
March 2020 - 30 June 2020
April 2020 - 31 July 2020
May 2020 - 31 July 2020
Due Dates for GSTR-1 monthly for registered person having turnover less than 1.5 crores
March 2020 - 30 June 2020
April 2020 - 30 June 2020
May 2020 - 30 June 2020
Along with the above extensions the due date for GSTR 9/9C Annual return for FY 2018-19
has been extended till 30 September 2020.
Other Extensions
No additional fee shall be charged for late filing during a moratorium period (01 April 2020 to 30 September 2020) in respect of any document, return, statement etc required to be filed in MCA system irrespective of its due date.
The timeline has been extended by 30 days for annual results. This means listed entities can now submit financials till 30th June 2020.
